Hate the iGoogle left-side navigation?

Hate that it takes up screen real estate for no reason? Find Gmail canvas view as unusable as I do?

The last straw for me today was to discover that they put chat in the navigation bar, and it was impossible to turn off. I found a groups forum thread where I could actually register my discontent, and found this little gem:

Add that “?hl=all” to the end of the URL, and hooray! Tabs on top again!

I got all excited about Google Street View expanding coverage in France. Sadly, despite massive coverage of Paris, Rue Louis-David is not included. About the closest you can get to our old apartment is this:

I was heading across the street to Amante to meet Meg for lunch yesterday when the Immersive Media Beetle drove by. I assume it was taking photos for Google Street View. Now I just have to keep checking the view that shows Lijit World HQ for me wearing my Urban Assault Race t-shirt. Fortunately I wasn’t picking my nose
